ON THE FIELD

Champions flag football is played with 7 men/women lined up on offence against 7 men/women lined up on defense.

The offence can line up, up to 3 offensive lineman (all of which are able to declare eligibility) or they can only utilize a center.

The opposing defense must line up 2-3 defensive lineman to the opposing 3 or none if the offence is presenting only a center.

The defending team does not have to declare a rusher, but has freedom to blitz from anywhere on the field.

THE GAME

Each game will consist of 4 15-minute quarters, played on the entire length of a regulation sized football field (field permitting) where the offence will have 3 attempts to reach 20 yards to reset the downs. Crossing the goal line will result in a Touchdown worth 6-points.

On 3rd down the offence will have the choice to either punt the ball (to be returned by defending team) or attempt a field goal. Each half will begin with a kick-off and kick return. Any punt that goes through the end zone will result in 1-point. A converted field-goal will be worth 3 points. Any punt that is not taken out of the endzone will result in a touchback giving the returning team the ball at their 25-yard line.
